I went to Ekpan in Warri on Monday 1st of March 2021 to collect a marble work for my late mother’s grave.
I was waiting in front of a storey-building and asked my brother to go and check the man working on the marble. My brother returned and informed me that the man is not in his shop and the shop is locked.
I was not comfortable where I was standing. I told him, let us go and check him together. My brother wondered why we should go immediately when he has just returned from the shop. I was already moving before he could voice his objection.
Immediately I stepped from where I was standing, a slate of tiles dropped from the top floor of the building and landed directly where I was standing on the vertical edge. It fell to the ground and broke into two.
People screamed and started praising God. If God did not move me from there, it would have landed directly on my head. It could have been fatal.
Praise be to God who watches over me with 360-degrees view.
