{"id":412,"date":"2021-02-13T12:14:25","date_gmt":"2021-02-13T12:14:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whisperingexpressions.org\/?p=412"},"modified":"2021-02-13T12:14:27","modified_gmt":"2021-02-13T12:14:27","slug":"be-thankful-for-your-troubles-and-hang-them-on-the-cross","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whisperingexpressions.org\/index.php\/2021\/02\/13\/be-thankful-for-your-troubles-and-hang-them-on-the-cross\/","title":{"rendered":"Be thankful for your troubles and hang them on the Cross"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong><em>\u201cGiving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ\u201d \u2013 Ephesians 5:20.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s a man in a highly challenging job who seemed to always be in a good frame of mind when he got home, regardless of how challenging the day had been.\u00a0 When queried about how he did it, the man said, \u201cI have a little copper beech tree in the yard by the front door and I call it my <strong>\u2018private trouble tree\u2019<\/strong>.\u00a0 Every night when I come home, I mentally hand all the day\u2019s troubles on that tree and I say to myself, \u2018Hand there for the night, I\u2019ll pick you up when I start for work in the morning\u2019.\u00a0 <strong>The funning thing about it, <\/strong>he continued, <strong>is that half the time when I leave the house the next morning I discover that most of what I thought were trouble when I hung them up had blown away during the night.<\/strong>\u00a0 Even the ones that are still hanging there are not half as heavy or worrisome as they seemed when I came home the night before\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\"><em>Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you\u201d \u00a0(I Peter 5:7).<\/em><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore cast your cares and troubles on His Cross.\u00a0 Don\u2019t carry the burden that does not belong to you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cGiving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ\u201d \u2013 Ephesians 5:20.
